I just wanted to throw in a quick word regarding our head coach, Michael Lopez (D6 49ers) and our practice on Sunday. He had about 10 planned drills that should have impressed any College AD scouting head coaches. His demeanor is exactly what a coaches demeanor should be when helping shape 1st grade minds and bodies in this great sport. My son has only been in this league one year, but I have a number of friends with older kids in BCS and you guys are going to be lucky to have Michael as a head coach for the next 8 years if he hangs in there. His knowledge of the game (he played quarterback at Occidental College), his positive teachings of “team-work” vs. “me-me-me”

And from another parent…

Matt, Oliver: We just wanted to send you both a quick note of thanks for coaching (our son) this fall –

This was his first exposure to flag football, and he LOVED IT!  It was a fantastic experience.  The first thing he said to me after the game on Saturday night, “Dad, I really want to play again”!  We are going to work with him this winter on some of the fundamentals….and we are going to try and feed him a lot of protein!

Thanks again guys.  Great experience!
