The BCS uses a yearly “league player age” – meaning your child’s age on a specific date of the year is the division in which they are automatically placed. That date is July 1. We use the same date every year. So your child’s age on July 1st, 2017 is the division they will play in in both the Fall and the Spring.

For example, if your child is 7 on July 1st, but turns 8 on July 3, by our rules he/she is considered 7.

Your child’s grade does not enter into the equation.

Kid’s may play up one division if by request, pending league approval. They may not play down – even if their birthday is July 1st.

For Future Stars, kids must be aged 5 as of 7/1/17

For D6 – D12, kids must be aged 6 – and not yet turned 13.

ALL NEW PLAYERS MUST SUBMIT THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR PROOF OF AGE.
