Calling all GBCS athletes! Please join us on Thursday, October 3rd to support the Varsity Girls Flag Football team at Mira Costa High School! This is a great way for the younger girls to interact with the high school girls and watch them play. It also gives the girls of GBCS a clear vision of what lies ahead for them should they choose to pursue flag football at the high school level (now that it is an official CIF sanctioned sport!). This is the first year that the local high school teams now have girls from GBCS on their squads – including Mira Costa!
Please arrive by 5:30pm. The girls of GBCS will tunnel out the Costa team and then cheer them on in their 6pm game vs Peninsula. After the game we will take a group photo with the varsity team. Girls should wear their GBCS jersey.
